City Hosting Crown Park Grand Reopening July 2

The City of Camas Parks & Recreation Department invites the community to celebrate the Crown Park Grand Reopening, Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., marking a major milestone for one of Camas’ most beloved gathering spaces.

Fireworks Regulations, Sales and Discharge for July 4, 2026

In advance of the upcoming summer season, the Camas-Washougal Fire Marshal’s Office is reminding residents that consumer fireworks can only be discharged on July 4 within the city limits of Camas and Washougal.

Water System Update

The City has restored three of the four wells that were recently out of service and has returned to normal operating conditions. Reservoir levels have recovered to normal operating ranges and continue to stabilize.

The remaining well is awaiting equipment and is expected to return to service within the next two weeks. The well is not needed to support current system operations.

Effective Friday, June 12, 2026, the Finance Department lobby is moving to a temporary schedule to accommodate staffing transitions and upcoming construction. Please note that while our physical lobby hours are changing, our staff remains available by phone during regular business hours.

City of Camas Finance Once Again Awarded with Achievement for Excellence

The City of Camas’ Finance Department has once again been awarded the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for their annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.

According to GFOA, the Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
