Urgent Water Conservation Notice - Multiple City Wells Temporarily Out of Service 6/16/26
Attention! The City is currently experiencing significant water supply challenges due to four municipal wells being temporarily out of service. As a result, reservoir levels are being depleted faster than they can be replenished.
To help maintain adequate water supplies for essential needs and emergency response, the City is requesting that all residents and businesses immediately suspend outdoor irrigation and other non-essential water use for the next 24 to 48 hours. Residents may also experience lower-than-normal water pressure while the City works to restore its water supply system.
Maintaining sufficient water reserves is critical to ensuring reliable water service and adequate fire protection capabilities throughout the community. We ask all customers to take this request seriously and do their part to conserve water during this temporary situation. City staff are actively working to return the affected wells to service. We are hopeful that a couple of wells will be restored and back online by the end of today, with additional wells to follow as repairs are completed.
We appreciate the community's patience, cooperation, and understanding. Updates will be provided as conditions change. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation.
