Transportation Information

The Camas Engineering Division provides for planning, design and construction of transportation projects in the City of Camas.  Transportation projects include street and sidewalk upgrades and maintenance, placement of signs and signals in the right-of-way, street lighting, and bike and pedestrian lanes.  The Engineering Division maintains a number of programs to monitor and plan for system improvements.  For more information, please email us at eDept@cityofcamas.us.

Comprehensive Street Program (Six Year Transportation Improvement Program)

The Six Year Transportation Improvement Program, also known as the 6 Year Street Program, is updated each year prior to commencement of the Washington State fiscal year of July 1 per the requirements of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 35.77.010. This year's program is for calendar years 2024 through 2029. The program consists of the list, map and appendices. The purpose of the program is to assure that each city shall perpetually have available advanced programs looking to the future for not less than six years as a guide in carrying out a coordinated transportation program.
