A place like Camas Public Library is what makes a good community great. It provides a meeting space for friends, families, and organizations to come together, and offers enrichment in the form of classes and clubs to help community members stretch their minds and meet their neighbors.
Above all, the Library is a place for people to learn or sharpen their literacy skills and be transported to different worlds through reading. This benefits the community as well. Imagine a community without reading:
Officials with the City of Camas Public Works department have announced that the annual drawdown of Lacamas Lake and Round Lake is scheduled to begin Sept. 15.
Beginning at 8 a.m., Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, the City will reduce the total level of the lakes by approximately six-feet, in order to achieve the level needed to facilitate dam inspections and repairs.
