Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Camas, Administrative Services Division, 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, WA 98607, until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 14th, 2021, for the recovery sale of approximately 4,000 MBF of designated timber, which will then and there be publicly read.
The City of Camas Finance Department is looking to provide residents with a little help in the form of the Camas Assistance Program, or CAP as it’s better known.
CAP can provide financial support for eligible customers that are delinquent on a City of Camas utility bill. Qualifying households may receive one credit per twelve months towards a delinquent utility balance, up to a maximum of $250. Senior citizens may qualify and receive utility assistance twice in twelve months.
Camas Housing Action Plan (Adopted July 6, 2021 by Resolution 21-006)
The City of Camas created this Housing Action Plan (HAP) to encourage housing diversity, affordability, and access to opportunity for people of all incomes, which will further the housing goals of Camas’ 20 year comprehensive plan, Camas 2035.
Construction on the NE 3rd Avenue Bridge over the Washougal River will begin July 8, 2021 and continue until December 2021.
Vehicular traffic will be temporarily reduced to a single lane in each direction throughout the duration of the project. The speed limit near the bridge will also temporarily be reduced to 25 mph.
With unusually dry weather this spring and into the summer, the demands for water are very high. The City is asking for your help to reduce the amount of water used by voluntarily watering or irrigating your lawn on odd/even days based on your address.
