Do you like music? Ever wanted to write music of your own? In this songwriting workshop you will be given tools to bring your song ideas to life and learn more about the songwriting craft. Taught by songwriter Taylor Miranda, and referencing her book “The Songwriting Breakdown”, you can learn how to generate ideas, how song structures works, and how to go about sharing your original music ideas.
This will be a continuation of songwriting concepts taught in previous classes, but we are happy to bring any newcomers up to speed!

Kicking off May’s Second Story Gallery exhibit at the Camas Public Library, a reception for bestselling graphic novel artist and author Aron Nels Steinke will take place Friday, May 3, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. The artist will be on hand for the event.
My Teacher is a Wolf: The Comics Art of Aron Nels Steinke is a retrospective of cartoon art from the creator of Mr. Wolf’s Class, the bestselling graphic novel series for children. This exhibit features over forty original pieces of art used in the creation of his graphic novels spanning his almost 20-year career.
