Storied is a Call for Art inspired by literature and storytelling. We invite artists working in all media to submit work influenced by books, poems, myths, folktales, or language. Submissions do not need to illustrate a specific text, rather, we welcome work that explores the themes, emotions, and power of stories in creative and imaginative ways.
Eligibility:

We’ll use colorful pom poms to fill pre-cut heart shapes and create decorations to hang around the house!

For the month of March, the Second Story Gallery will display pieces of artwork by elementary school students from our community. We want as many students to participate as possible with the hope of filling the gallery to the brim with artwork! Therefore, we are calling the exhibit Fill the Gallery! Elementary Art Exhibit. March is designated as Youth Art Month, so we wanted to use this opportunity to display artwork from the young artists in our community.

Making friends as an adult is hard, but it doesn't have to be! Join us for a night of "speed friending." This is a low-stress, fun environment to meet new people in the area and make connections with other adults looking for friendship.
Each pairing will be given 2-3 minutes to get to know one another; prompts will be provided if needed to get the conversation started. At the end of the speed friending rounds, there will be time set aside to exchange phone numbers, emails and information with anyone you've made a connection with.
