Immerse yourself in the extraordinary tales of Jack and Annie as we bring their adventures to life through crafts, engaging activities, and snacks inspired by the series. Explore the wonders of time travel, ancient civilizations, and mythical creatures in a celebration that honors Osborne's captivating storytelling.
Kicking off May’s Second Story Gallery exhibit at the Camas Public Library, a reception for bestselling graphic novel artist and author Aron Nels Steinke will take place Friday, May 3, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. The artist will be on hand for the event.
My Teacher is a Wolf: The Comics Art of Aron Nels Steinke is a retrospective of cartoon art from the creator of Mr. Wolf’s Class, the bestselling graphic novel series for children. This exhibit features over forty original pieces of art used in the creation of his graphic novels spanning his almost 20-year career.
Join us for Bingo at the Library! Winners receive their choice of Reading Dragon prize. All ages welcome.
It's a book club without the assigned reading! Join your fellow book lovers for an hour of silent reading and then optional socializing afterward. B.Y.O.B (Bring your own book), or borrow one of ours. We'll have light beverages and snacks on hand, but feel free to bring your own.
We meet on the 2nd Friday and 4th Thursday of the month (except on holidays).
Schedule:
5:30-6:00 Arrive and settle in. The Library's doors lock right at 6, so make sure you're in the building before 6!
Family Storytime is a special, once-a-month program on the first Saturday of the month that has all of the things you love about storytimes and more! There will be a 30-minute storytime followed by a craft.
This storytime is for children aged 2-5 with an adult.

March 10, 2023 – Our second year of Kid Librarians was a rousing success! If you missed any of the weekly features, I’ve put a few highlights together for each Kid Librarian.
Signups for 2023’s Kid Librarians will be available in the fall. Until then, happy reading!
