This 35 minute film was a collaborative effort between Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail and NEW Multimedia, as part of Big Medicine: The York Project, an initiative to bring York’s story to the foreground.
Following a thorough recruitment process, the City of Camas announced that Kevin Bergstrom will be the next Fire Marshal for the Camas-Washougal Fire Department.
Bergstrom assumed the position effective March 16, and will focus on prevention, education, technical review and community safety.

On-Call Development Review Services
Introduction
The City of Camas is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified consultants to provide on-call development review services to support the City’s Community Development Department during periods of high permit volume and for projects requiring specialized or technical expertise.
A proposed pavement preservation project for NW 28th Avenue will be presented at the April 6, 2026, Camas City Council Workshop. In addition to restoring the roadway surface, the project includes a proposed update to the street layout to better serve all users; however this update would reduce the number of on-street parking spaces.
