SUMMER EVENING MAT PILATES SESSION WITH MEGAN

Mat Pilates With Megan

This Mat-based Pilates class is an all-levels practice designed to lengthen and strengthen the body with a focus on stability, posture, breath and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. In addition, Mat Pilates will help you feel aligned, rejuvenated and connected to your breath and body.  Bring a mat or we have some to borrow.

Teen Graphic Novel Book Club

If you are a teen aged 13-17 who loves graphic novels and manga, then this book club is for you! Each month we'll read a different graphic novel from a variety of genres and topics. 

June's Manga is Horimiya, Vol. 1 by HERO x Diasuke Hagiwara

After you register for this club (camaspl.org/GNBOOKCLUB), pick up a copy of the book at the service desk at the Library. The book is yours to keep just for attending the discussion.

Join Tami Calais as she explores key topics to help adult children provide effective and respectful guidance with compassion and understanding, such as shared emotions, knowing when and how to research care options, and initiating essential conversations about change.

Meet the Staff - Kate Laubernds

Kate is a lifelong book lover and future librarian who is passionate about children’s literacy, storytelling, and building inclusive spaces for all. Before diving into the library world, she spent over a decade in marketing at places like Powell’s Books, the Beaverton Farmers Market, and various wineries. When she’s not studying for school, you can find her hiking or backpacking with her family, beading, or being in community at tribal events.
