John Nohr was first appointed to the position of Camas City Council Member Ward 1, Position 1 and subsequently sworn into office on October 17, 2022, term ending December 31, 2027.

John has lived in Camas since 2007. He has served on the Camas Salary Commission since 2013. He is also active as a board member for the North Clark County Community Food Bank and is a board member for Trauma Intervention Programs (TIP).

The City is seeking an executive search firm to assist in identifying, recruiting and screening candidates for the positions of Community Development Director, Fire Chief, and Police Chief. Marilyn Boerke was sworn into office on January 5, 2026, to the position of Ward 1, Position 2 for her second full-term on City Council for the term ending December 31, 2029.

Connie grew up a gymnast, journalist, and motorcycle enthusiast on 25 acres in the community of Ferndale, WA.
