Meet the Staff- Connie Urquhart

Connie grew up a gymnast, journalist, and motorcycle enthusiast on 25 acres in the community of Ferndale, WA. The youngest of six in a place where everyone knew all about the misdeeds of the Urquhart family going back generations, she split for Seattle at 18 and vowed never to live in a small town again.

Fast forward 22 years, she found herself in Camas for the first time, after years of living in Seattle and Fresno, California. Camas was charming, beautiful, and it held the library of her dreams. After 5 years as its director, she couldn’t be happier. She’s so glad she gave small towns a second chance. Camas Love is real!

Connie is a homebody at heart, so most weekends you’ll find her in the kitchen baking, with her dogs underfoot and a trashy reality show playing on TV, or maybe listening to an audiobook. When she ventures out, it’s for a hike with her husband or an adventure with friends.
