CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION OPENING

The City of Camas is currently seeking interested citizens to serve on the

Civil Service Commission.

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Camas, Administrative Services, 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, Washington, until 10:00am, on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Bids will then be opened and publicly read in the City Hall Council Chambers.

The Camas Public Library is thrilled to announce the launch of its annual Summer Reading Program, kicking off June 14 and running until August 16. This year's theme is “Color Our World” and the program invites readers of all ages to join in the fun and read for 40 days throughout the summer.

Are you a movie lover looking to enhance your viewing experience?

The Art of Watching Movies is a three-part discussion series designed to deepen your appreciation of film. Each session explores a different aspect of movie-watching, helping you engage more thoughtfully with the films you love. Sessions can be attended individually or as a full series. While presentations will provide key insights, discussions among participants will play a major role in shaping the experience.

Put your skills to the test in this thrilling challenge inspired by Squid Games! Compete in a series of games like Red Light, Green Light and more. Will you make it to the finish line? Join us for fun, strategy, and a little friendly competition!

Join us for a morning of fun at the Library to celebrate the start of our Summer Reading Program! While you're here, pick up your gameboard to track your reading and some new books to get you started. We'll have stampers for the first 200 kids and the first 50 teens and adults who take a gameboard.

Mat Pilates With Megan

This Mat-based Pilates class is an all-levels practice designed to lengthen and strengthen the body with a focus on stability, posture, breath and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. In addition, Mat Pilates will help you feel aligned, rejuvenated and connected to your breath and body.  Bring a mat or we have some to borrow.
