City of Camas Announces Scott Collins as New Public Works Director

Following a national search, the City of Camas announced that Scott Collins will be the City of Camas’ next Public Works Director. Collins will assume the position effective Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025. 

Haunted Happenings 2025

Preschool Trick or Treat

Get ready for Halloween with this fun program just for preschoolers! Kids can “practice” trick-or-treating in a safe and playful environment while exploring festive dramatic play and sensory activities. We’ll also include a special focus on Halloween safety so kids (and their grown-ups!) feel ready for the big night. 

Costumes are welcome but not required.

Calling all Swifties! Celebrate The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor's 12th studio album, with an afternoon packed with music, fun, and all things Taylor! Meet fellow Swifties, craft friendship bracelets, and show off your song knowledge with Taylor trivia.

This event is for all ages. Kids under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Scary Story Writing Contest 2025

Our annual Scary Story Contest is back! Kids in grades 3-12 can participate this year. 

Rules:

1-on-1 Tech Help

Drop by for basic tech assistance from a Library staff member. Whether it's help with a new device or navigating the Libby app, we're here to help!

Appointments: 15 minutes each, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Devices: Bring your own device, or use one of our available Chromebooks.
