The City of Camas Parks & Recreation Department invites the community to experience the inaugural Camtown Arts & Music Festival, Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at Crown Park. This free, family-friendly event marks the debut of a newly reimagined Camtown, transforming the former youth-focused festival into a dynamic, all-ages celebration of arts, music, and culture.
The City of Camas’ Finance Department has once again been awarded the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for their annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.
According to GFOA, the Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
Attention Camas residents, the City will be activating Well 13, Wednesday, May 6, due to the increased demand in the water system. The recent increase in temperatures across the area has required all city wells to be in production. Adding Well 13 will provide the City with the additional supply needed to keep up with the late spring/summer demand.

The City of Camas is announcing a new campaign aimed at increasing water safety among youth in the area.
Camas will launch the “Think Before You Jump,” campaign in May as part of Camas’ Water Safety Month initiative. Each year, the City promotes water safety with three simple steps: wear a life jacket, know your limits and know the water.
