Public involvement is a key component of local government. We need to hear from you when it comes to Camas, because we need your input to be successful! Our Council and Commission meetings, as well as public hearings, are some of the best ways for you to stay informed as a citizen. As such, we've made it easy for you to participate in our public meetings.
In October 2021, the Parks and Recreation Commission established an updated Parks and Recreation vision and mission statements, as well as the goals for the updated PROS Plan. Both were informed by community input. This vision and mission statement, along with the PROS Plan goals, will guide the work of the Parks and Recreation department in the coming years.
Construction on the NE 3rd Avenue Bridge over the Washougal River will begin July 8, 2021 and continue until December 2021.
Vehicular traffic will be temporarily reduced to a single lane in each direction throughout the duration of the project. The speed limit near the bridge will also temporarily be reduced to 25 mph.
