Salaries
The City of Camas provides a regular progression of salary increases for specific classifications. Most positions provide for step increases, on the employee’s anniversary date subject to successful evaluations. Cost of living increases are adjusted according to conditions of a collective bargaining agreement for represented employees. For all other positions, cost of living adjustments are determined by the City Council.
The City encourages career development for its employees and when possible promotes qualified employees from within the City.

Benefits
The City has a complete benefits package. It includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, employee assistance program, and pension with the Washington State Department of Retirement. Vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays are also included in the employee benefits package.
