Camas City Council Member Bonnie Carter

Term:  January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2027
Position:  Ward 2

Bonnie Carter was first appointed and sworn into office on February 2, 2015, to the position of Ward 2. She was then elected to serve her first full-term on CIty Council in November 2015.

Bonnie and her husband have been residents of Camas since 2002. Together they are raising four sons. She has volunteered in the school district and the community for the last twelve years; recently vacating as treasurer for the Camas Educational Foundation and as treasurer/president-elect for the Skyridge Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). She is the Administrative Secretary at Skyridge Middle School.

Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Minnesota-Moorhead and worked in retail before staying home with the boys. It was during this time that she was able to volunteer at the schools, serve as Grass Valley Parent Teacher Association (PTA) President from 2010-2012, serve a term on the Citizens Advisory Committee from 2008-2011, and volunteer for her neighborhood homeowners' group.
