Annual Permit Performance Report

In 2023, the Washington State Legislature passed SB 5290, which amends the Local Project Review Act (RCW 36.70B). Its purpose is to consolidate, streamline, and improve the local permit review process, particularly for residential development. Among other amendments, SB 5290 created new requirements for certain jurisdictions to submit annual reports on review processing timelines to the Washington State Department of Commerce. Below is a summary of the annual permit performance data submitted by the City of Camas to the Department of Commerce.

Community Links: A Collaborative Art Project

Join us for a hands-on weaving experience as we create a woven willow chain for the Camas Earth Day exhibit at the Second Story Gallery!

Using all-natural materials, this chain will symbolize the connections that link us to the past, the present, the future, to the earth, and to each other.

As we craft, we’ll share in an open discussion about the small, positive changes each of us can make. Like the links in our woven chain, our individual actions add up to a greater impact when joined together as a community.
