Lacamas Lake Drawdown Scheduled to Begin Sept. 15

Officials with the City of Camas Public Works department have announced that the annual drawdown of Lacamas Lake and Round Lake is scheduled to begin Sept. 15.

Beginning at 8 a.m., Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, the City will reduce the total level of the lakes by approximately six-feet, in order to achieve the level needed to facilitate dam inspections and repairs.

as metals, oils, paint, cleaners, and dirt that all harm
fish and other aquatic life.
• Water must be diverted to a sink, lawn, or landscaping.
• Wash water cannot enter storm drains and ditches.*

Exhibit History

 

In 2022, after being closed for 2 years due to Covid, Library staff was given the opportunity to revive the Second Story Gallery.

Please enjoy exploring exhibits from the past few years as we continue to curate and bring new shows to our space.

 

Teen Library Council

What is the Teen Library Council? Our Teen Library Council (TLC) provides teens ages 14-17 with the opportunity to make a positive difference in our community and have input in the way the Library serves teens.

What We Do: 
Promote and help out at children and teen programs. 
Serve as an integral part of our Summer Reading Program volunteer team. 
Give back to the community through outreach projects.
Provide input for what programs teens need from the Library.
