Lacamas Creek Trail

A forest oasis in a rapidly developing suburban setting, Lacamas Creek trail is 0.7 miles and offers views of Lacamas Creek flowing below. At the beginning of the trail, most of the trees are maples and alders, offering spectacular fall colors in November. Douglas-firs predominate as you hike farther up Lacamas Creek. Soon you'll hear Lower Falls, a splashing slide falls with lots of exposed rock in the summer. Then you'll come to the McEnry Bridge, taking you over Lacamas Creek.

Mill Ditch Trail

Approximately 2.6 miles from NW Drake to Round Lake. Trail is accessible from many of the main streets such as NE Dallas and NE Garfield. Unpaved. Mostly Flat. Travels alongside the Mill water ditch previously owned and used by Georgia Pacific, and is now owned by the City of Camas. The ditch was hand dug by 125 Chinese laborers in about five months time in 1884.
