Form of Government Town Hall Information
Agendas are published four days before the meeting and include the Zoom meeting details at the top of the agenda.
The Camas City Council is considering placing a change in the form of government on the ballot for a future election. As part of the information process, a committee selected by the Mayor issued a report that was provided to Council this past summer. Following that report, Council asked for a Town Hall to occur in order to better understand where Camas residents stand on the issue.
The first Town Hall occurred Aug, 11. The recording and presentation from that event are listed below. Following the Aug. 11 Town Hall, Council voted to have the City Attorney draft a resolution for the Change in the Form of Government to placed on a ballot for voters to decide. However, that resolution will require a majority vote from Council to proceed and that vote has not occurred yet.
Another Town Hall was held Sept. 17, 2026. You can find the presentation and video link (when available) below.
Council will also discuss the Form of Government at the Sept. 21, Council Workshop: https://www.cityofcamas.us/meetings
