The City of Camas uses lodging tax funds to support and encourage tourism and cultural activities in Camas. The City is working to strengthen our position for day and overnight visitors, aiming to position Camas as one of the region's premiere shopping, dining, and entertainment destinations.
WHAT IS LODGING TAX FUNDING?
The City of Camas charges a 2% charge on overnight stays in the hotel in the City. These funds are commonly referred to as lodging tax funds or hotel funds.
The City of Camas (City) solicits interest from qualified consulting firms to conduct a facilities condition assessment for identified City owned facilities.
Please submit FOUR identical hard-copies of your Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and one electronic copy of the SOQ and example plan on a thumb drive to: City of Camas, attention Denis Ryan, Public Works Operations Supervisor, (site address) 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, WA 98607 by April 22, 2021, no later than 10:00 AM. No submittals will be accepted after that date and time.
The Parks and Recreation department kicked off our Parks, Recreation & Open Space Comprehensive Plan (PROS Plan). The PROS Plan covers the six-year period from 2022-2028 and provide a decision-making framework to steward and build upon a park, trail and recreation system that serves and enhances our community’s health and quality of life – now and into the future.

The City brand is also built by the experiences of this community and the associations that visitors, residents, businesses, and media make with the City of Camas.
