City of Camas Seeks Public Input on Community Vision for Our Camas 2045

The City of Camas is undertaking a multi-year initiative to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan. The Our Camas 2045 Comprehensive Plan will establish a vision for growth and development and will articulate goals, objectives, policies, and actions to guide our future through 2045.

We meet on the 1st Wednesday of every month and cater the meeting to the needs of those who attend!

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Camas, Administrative Services, 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, Washington, until 11:00am, on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Bids will then be opened and publicly read in the City Hall Council Chambers

Meet the Staff - Christy Hughes

Christy spent her childhood living in Arizona, Japan, and Hawaii, but her favorite spot on earth is the PNW. Christy brings a background in library events, communications, and HR to her current role. Her favorite reading genres include historical fiction, non-fiction, and anything her children are reading. She is also a published author, and enjoys baking, hiking, visiting new libraries, fresh fruit, and taking long naps in the sun.

NE 3rd Ave Trailhead Improvements - City Project No. P1030 (PNR 23004)

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Camas, Administrative Services, 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, Washington, until 10:00 am, on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, and will then and there be publicly read for the construction of the improvement.

Silent Book Club

It's a book club without the assigned reading! Join your fellow book lovers for an hour of silent reading and then optional socializing afterward. B.Y.O.B (Bring your own book), or borrow one of ours. We'll have light beverages and snacks on hand, but feel free to bring your own.

We meet on the 2nd Friday and 4th Thursday of the month (except on holidays).


Schedule:

5:30-6:00 Arrive and settle in. The Library's doors lock right at 6, so make sure you're in the building before 6!
