City of Camas to Host Our Camas 2045 Community Summit #3
Officials with the City of Camas are encouraging residents to take part in the latest Community Summit related to the Our Camas 2045 Comprehensive Plan, but with a twist.
The Our Camas 2045 Community Summit #3 will actually be a series of focused conversations related to each part of the Our Camas 2045 draft plan. Every two weeks, a new topic or plan element will be highlighted at Engage Camas, complete with background information and a brief survey.
This elevated format will allow residents to dive deeper into the comprehensive plan, while also providing feedback that will ultimately help shape the final Our Camas 2045 and Our Downtown Camas 2045 plans.
The topics and dates are as follows:
- Community Character -Sept. 15 – Sept. 26
- Housing – Sept. 29- Oct. 10
- Natural Environment & Climate/Resiliency – Oct. 13 – Oct. 24
- Economic Development – Oct. 27- Nov. 7
- Transportation & Public Facilities/Services – Nov. 10 – Nov. 21
- Land Use – Nov. 24 – Dec. 5.
- Our Downtown Camas 2045 – Dec. 8- Dec. 26
Interested residents can take part by following City of Camas social media feeds and by visiting https://engagecamas.com/ourcamas2045 during each two-week window to learn about the featured topic and to also take a brief survey. The City will also be providing a display in the City Hall lobby that will also follow the schedule above so that residents can review the materials and share their feedback at their convenience.
