Parking Tickets

Parking regulations are strictly enforced in the downtown Camas area. If you have been cited for a parking infraction, payment of the $30 ticket can be made to the Finance Department in City Hall or pay on the online portal in the Web Links below. Tickets are due within 15 days of issuance. Failure to pay or contest your ticket within 15 days will result in the assessment of a $25 penalty.

All unpaid parking tickets are reported to The Department of Licensing/Motor Vehicles. This will result in your vehicle license not being renewed until all tickets are paid in full.

Customers can pay in person at the Finance Department in City Hall with cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card. Customers can also submit checks or money orders through the mail. Please note that when making an online payment there is a $2.50 processing fee.

If you contest your parking infraction, you may request a hearing by filling out the back of the ticket and checking box 2 or 3. If you wish to contest it, but do not have the original ticket, you can obtain a form online or in-person at the Finance Department. Please submit the form electronically, by mail, or in-person to the Finance Department within 15 days of the date of the ticket. The Camas-Washington Municipal Court will notify you of the hearing date.

To request a hearing regarding a parking ticket, please download and fill out the Parking Ticket Hearing Request form in the Supporting Documents below.
