The City of Camas has prepared a Request for Proposal to replace our NEC v8100 VoIP system and T3 Voicemail system with current technologies to improve communications and customer service.   The following features are highly desired and will be heavily weighted during the selection process:

1. High reliability, availability and built in redundancy for emergency services utilizing either internet or Comcast PRI lines in designing failover features easily scalable across a multisite environment

2. Supporting single sign-on with Active Directory integration

3. Integration with Exchange 2016 and above

4. Open APIs for integrations with other products including city-owned cellular devices

5. User-Friendly, easily programmable, customizable equipment or resources for both administrative managers and end users

6. LDAP/Active Directory integration, unified messaging, text messaging, O365 and Microsoft Teams integration, voice and video conferencing, and conference bridge capabilities

7. Advanced system features including call queues, scalable auto-attendant capabilities, after-hours and holiday programming, system times, music on hold, overhead and phone paging

8. Administrative attendant consoles and user tools for managing high call volumes, missed calls, transfers and employee in/out, DND appearances

9. Mobility of phones with the ability to function through VPN or offsite, including reliable and quality wireless headsets and mobile equipment 

10. Phone and Voicemail systems must be easily integrated and proven to perform reliably together
