Library Building Improvements
Join us in building the next chapter!
Exciting improvements are underway at the Camas Library. Over the coming months, we'll be investing in both our indoor and outdoor spaces to create an even more welcoming, accessible, and engaging community hub for everyone.
Phase 1 focuses on the Children's Library, with updates designed to support three distinct types of learning in three individual spaces:
- Story-based learning, or early literacy, for ages 0-5
- Movement-based learning, for ages 5-8
- Project-based learning, for ages 9-12
Phase 2 will bring improvements to the Library's exterior, including a renovated courtyard.
Throughout construction, the Library will remain open and all events and services will remain available -- including Summer Reading Program. We'll use this page to share updates, answer questions, and help you navigate temporary changes along the way.
