Camas Summer Concerts in the Park Ready to Kick Off July 24 at Dorothy Fox Park

Camas Parks & Recreation is excited to kick off its 31st year of hosting the beloved Summer Concerts in the Park series. These free concerts offer a fun, family-friendly way to enjoy a variety of musical styles in the beautiful outdoors.

This year’s concerts will be held on Thursdays, July 24 and July 31, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Dorothy Fox Park, located at 2023 NW 23rd Ave.

The first concert July 24 will feature The Junebugs, a high-energy group known for blending pop and rock with Pacific Northwest folk to create a genre-bending, crowd-pleasing sound. On July 31, the series wraps up with Jennifer Batten and Pat Yoden, a dynamic band that celebrates 80s rock favorites from artists like Van Halen, Foreigner, Journey, Toto, and Peter Gabriel. Their performances are made even more memorable by their classic steampunk attire, and audience members are encouraged to dress up and join the fun.

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase at the park. Attendees are also encouraged to support local businesses by picking up takeout from Camas restaurants and enjoying a picnic during the concert. Please note that alcohol is not allowed in the park.

This is a free event with no registration required.  Camas’ Summer Concerts in the Park series is sponsored by Riverview Community Bank.
