Camas Parks & Recreation Announces Leadbetter Walk & Roll September 14
Camas Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the inaugural Leadbetter Walk & Roll event, Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, from 1 – 4 p.m. The event will take place along Leadbetter Road, which will be closed to vehicular traffic from the Lacamas Lake Boat Launch to Camp Currie.
Through the Legacy Lands master planning process, Leadbetter Road has been identified as the future home of the North Shore Trail. This event will provide residents with the opportunity to experience the future trail, and community members are invited to explore the one-mile lakeside stretch of road by foot, bike or other mobility device.
In addition to experiencing the future North Shore Trail, attendees can visit the historic Rose property and equestrian barn, which will be part of the Legacy Lands Regional Park. Clark County will also be hosting an Open House at Camp Currie during the event.
Parking is available in the boat launch gravel lot at the south end of the road closure, which is the recommended start area. There will also be limited parking at Camp Currie at the north end. Please note, parking will not be allowed along Leadbetter Road.
This is a free event and registration is not required.
