Scary Story Writing Contest 2026
Our annual Scary Story Contest is back! Kids in grades 3-12 can participate this year.
Rules:
Stories must be 500 words or less
By submitting your story to the contest you are agreeing this is your own original work.
Your story must be turned in by Saturday, October 10 at 6 p.m. You can turn in your story to the front desk, or submit it through this online form: Scary Story 2026
Five winners will be selected to receive a prize, and their stories will be posted at local businesses in downtown Camas beginning October 19 as part of our Scary Story Walk.
