Participants and Zombies Needed for Camas Parks and Rec Zombie Dash Fun Run Oct. 17

Lace up your running shoes and prepare for some fun-filled zombie dodging and flag saving! Mark your calendars now for the Camas Parks and Recreation Zombie Dash Fun Run, Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Legacy Lands Rose Property (215 SE Leadbetter Rd.)

Get ready for a thrilling 1.25-mile loop where you'll complete obstacles and avoid zombies trying to steal your flags! Cross the finish line with one or more flags and you’ve survived the zombie apocalypse. If the zombies nab your flags, you’re officially infected, but don’t worry, you’ll still earn a certificate of completion to brag about your valiant effort.

And if you’re more interested in chasing than being chased, volunteer zombies are needed. Those interested must be 14 or older and willing to chase participants along the course, while also attempting to snag the runner’s flags. Zombies will be needed from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and must provide their own costume, some make-up will be provided.

In addition, the final 30 mins of the course will be zombie free for those that want to run but don't want the zombie fright!
