Get ready for a full day of community, history, and celebration at the Crown Park Grand Reopening!

This beloved community space returns with a fresh new look, bringing together neighbors, local partners, and the whole Camas community for a day of connection and fun. Crown Park will come alive with food, music, games, hands-on activities, and a heartfelt tribute to the land and people who came before us — all part of our America 250 Celebration.

Whether you're here to learn something new, cheer on the relay race, get the kids moving, or simply enjoy the park, there's something for everyone.

What to Expect:

A Street Parking community workout to kick off the morning

A Cowlitz Tribe blessing and land acknowledgement

Remarks from the Mayor and a Commissioners vs. Council relay race

A Bike Rodeo with Camas Bikes, plus an E-Bike Safety Session for teens & parents

A 12-station History & Nature Trivia Trail

A Letters to the Future writing station

Coffee from Kaffae, Kona Ice, Razo's Tacos, the VFW, and more local vendors

Lawn games with our Parks staff all day long

Bike Rodeo with Camas Bikes

A free, family-friendly bike safety event for all ages! Balance bikes, training wheels, and big-kid two-wheelers are all welcome. Riders will practice safe biking skills, complete a fun course, and earn a small prize. Teens and parents can also join a dedicated E-Bike Safety Session. Bring your own bike — sessions run hourly from 12–3 PM.

Street Parking Community Workout

Kick off Grand Reopening morning with a free, all-levels community workout hosted by Street Parking! Registration starts at 9:30 AM, with the workout running from 10:00–10:50 AM. Stick around afterward for the ribbon cutting, coffee from Kaffae, and fun with the Parks and Rec crew before the main celebration begins at 11 AM.
