Second Story Gallery Presents Two-Person Exhibition Featuring Mike Smith and Uta Zuendel

The Second Story Gallery in Camas is pleased to present a two-person exhibition featuring local artists Mike Smith and Uta Zuendel. The exhibition will be on display from Friday, April 3 - Saturday, April 25.

This special exhibition highlights artwork drawn from Zuendel’s personal collection, spanning several decades and including pieces dating back to the 1970s. Together, the works offer a unique perspective on a lifetime of artistic exploration and creative expression. The exhibit also highlights the work of Mike Smith displayed throughout the Library, including his bronze statue in the courtyard.

Longtime friends and members of the Camas community, Smith and Zuendel share a deep artistic connection shaped by years of collaboration, dialogue, and mutual support. Their work reflects both individual vision and a shared history rooted in the local arts scene.

The community is invited to attend an Opening Reception, Friday, April 3, from 5–8 p.m., providing an opportunity to meet the artists and experience the exhibition firsthand.

An Artist Talk with Uta Zuendel will take place, Monday, April 20, at 6 p.m., offering additional insight into her work, influences, and artistic journey.

The Second Story Gallery is located within the library and is free and open to the public during regular library hours. For more information about the exhibition or upcoming gallery shows, visit http://camaspl.org/ssg or contact the Camas Public Library.
