Meet the Staff- Vanessa Perger

When Vanessa moved to Camas in 2018, the Library was an integral part of making her and her family feel like part of the community. She knew that she wanted to be part of the team that had made her feel so welcome. She has worked in many different roles at the Library, most recently becoming a Library Associate in December. Her favorite part of her job is being able to serve the community she loves, especially the families in her Tiny Tots Storytime.

When Vanessa is not at the Library, you can usually find her out on new adventures with her husband, their four kids and two dogs. She’s always looking for new ways to create, whether it’s making jewelry, dreamcatchers, or coming up with silly songs and dances to embarrass her children. She’s a hippie at heart and can talk all day about crystals, meditation and energy. Her favorite books include the Harry Potter series (she’s a Ravenclaw), The Great Gatsby and Love Warrior.

Vanessa hopes everyone is staying healthy and safe, and looks forward to seeing everyone when the Library reopens.
