Meet the Staff- Stacy Yakouba

Originally from Camas, Stacy moved back to town at the end of 2020 after living in London for a year and a half. She grew up going to the Camas Public Library and is eager to now help the community find their next perfect read! After graduating from high school, she attended UC Santa Cruz where she obtained her BA in Film and Digital Media after completing a thesis on Reality TV dating shows. During that time she participated in a study abroad program in London that caused her to fall in love with the city, influencing her to return to receive her MA in Communications at the University of Westminster. Living abroad fueled her love of travel and she's always happy to give recommendations and suggestions. Her favorite places she's visited are Budapest, Corfu, and Barcelona.

Some of her favorite things include going to concerts, binge watching anything on HBO, going to trendy restaurants, and of course reading! Typically you can find her trying to reach her reading goal for the year or judging TV show adaptations of books. Some of her favorite authors are Emily Henry, Elissa Sussman, Rachel Lynn Solomon, and Jenny Han.
