Meet the Staff- Maria Martin

Maria is so excited to be a part of the Camas Library. She received her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri and is living her childhood dream of being a librarian. After a couple of years on the East Coast and in the Midwest, Maria feels lucky to be back in the Pacific Northwest.

Maria is in three book clubs, and as a big proponent of public libraries, the only card she maxes out is her library card. As a psychology major, she loves swapping book recommendations as a way to get to know someone. When she’s not reading, she enjoys taking dance and fitness classes, visiting botanical gardens, and collecting ice cream shop t-shirts.
