Meet the Staff- Leah Burch

Leah came to us with a background in academic libraries but always knew that public libraries was where she belonged. As a kid growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Leah dreamed of being an author/illustrator. One of the books she wrote even got her the chance to attend the Young Author's Conference in the 2nd grade!

When Leah is not at the library, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling the world (ask her about her most recent trip to London!), listening to podcasts (mostly of the murder variety), and knitting.

Here are some bookish things about Leah:

  • All-time favorite book is Little Women
  • Even though she claims to be in Hufflepuff, her favorite Harry Potter character is Severus Snape
  • She listens to audiobooks at 1.75x the speed
  • Favorite book-to-movie adaptation is Joy Luck Club
