Storyteller Quilters: Monochromatic and Achromatic Quilts - June 2025

Storytelling is a tradition in all cultures, first as oral, and then as pictorial, such as cave paintings. The Storyteller Quilters group was formed because they all wanted to continue that tradition by using quilts to present visual stories. The most recent challenge was to create 30" x 30" monochromatic pieces, each in a different color on the color wheel. They complemented these pieces by each creating an achromatic black, white, and gray quilt.

Buzz and Bloom: Art by Joanne Adams Roth and Cindy Wilson Geffel - February 2025

BUZZ AND BLOOM is a collection of works by nature lovers Joanne Adams Roth (fiber art) and Cindy Wilson Geffel (painting and assemblage).

Joanne, who is also a Master Gardener in Clark County, is presenting her fiber art series of Garden Ladies. They were inspired by works of artists and photographers from around the world. She placed each of the figures in artistic backgrounds that represent flora and fauna imagined or familiar to her.

Cindy is inspired by her rural landscape, including the thousands of bees managed on her farm. A Master Beekeeper, she is exhibiting paintings, assemblages, and sculpture works celebrating her favorite insect.

Transformation Through Travel: Photography by Leslie Struxness - January 2025

Our world, with all its beauty and wonder, is ever changing.

Walk with me - seeing people, places, culture and diversity captured through photography - each just one moment in time.

Some are simply stunning landscapes, others a street scene, or a portrait, but each has a story, documenting a specific time and place.

As the viewer, I strive to have you connect with these images, to provoke an emotion, to ask questions, and to want to know more. I want to take you to another place - a place of wonder, a place, perhaps, unfamiliar or even uncomfortable.

Travel, for me, has been transformational. It has given me a wider worldview. It provides a window into other perspectives. I’m more knowledgeable, more compassionate, and more whole because of the places I’ve been and people I’ve met. I want to open that door for you too. Walk in, and experience the transformation of travel.
