Nov 29   Book 2 Art Club: Bring your art inspired by the book, Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly; 6:30 - 8 pm.
Dec 1   Bee Club: A place to discuss beekeeping techniques, philosophy, activism, and more. Held on the first Saturday of each month from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Dec 5   Teen Zine: Join us in the Teen Room for zine, comic, and other paper projects (with snacks!) on the first Wednesday of every month from 4 - 5:30 pm.
Dec 5   Page Turners: Open to 4th - 6th graders (and their adult). Sign out a copy of the book, read and join us for the monthly meeting every 1st Wednesday of the month through May. Join us at 6:30 each month for an activity & snack
Dec 7   First Friday: An opening reception for the new Second Story Gallery artist, featuring live music upstairs in the Camas Public Library from SPECIAL RECEPTION TIME 4:30 - 7 pm.
Dec 12   Story Explorers Book Club: Open to 2nd-3rd graders (and their adult). Sign out a copy of the book, read and join us for the monthly meeting every 2nd Wednesday of the month through May. Join us at 6:30 each month for an activity & snack.
Dec 13   Forever Young Book Group: For adults who love to read young adult books! Meeting from 6-7:30 pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
Dec 14   Cookie Decorating: Kids in 4th through 6th grade register at the Library to participate in cookie decorating from 4 - 5:30 pm.
Dec 18   Teen Make Me: A drop-in crafting time for 6th-12th graders from 4 - 5:30 pm.
Dec 20   LEGO Club: Challenges & free play every month for all ages on the third Thursday of the month at 4 pm.
Dec 31   Noon Year's Eve Countdown: Join us for a toddler & preschool dance party with crafts & snacks to celebrate the new year at 11:30 am.

  Crochet Club: For all ages, elementary-aged children please attend with an adult. Meets every Thursday from 3:30 - 5 pm in the Teen Room.
  Storytimes: Join us every weekday for storytimes in the library! See our storytime list for times. 
  English Conversation Group: A casual gathering of ESL speakers. 12:30-2pm every Tuesday. 
    Second Story Gallery
   

“Storytime” Oct. 5-Nov. 30, Second Story Gallery, upstairs in the Camas Public Library. The Storytellers, a six-member fiber arts group, takes inspiration from bestsellers to create art with a bookish bent. The group is made up of artists Linda Reinert, CarolAnne Olson, Hedda Wright, Judith Phelps, Mary Kay Price and Dianne Kane. They will be discussing their techniques at the opening reception Oct. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. They also plan multiple activities tied to books and their art over the course of the two-month show, with information available at the Camas Library web site. The Gallery is open during regular library hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. 360-834-4532, www.secondstorygallery.net.
