Kids Learning About 9/11

September 11, 2020 - My daughter was born on September 11, 2012. Since around six years of age, my husband and I have been helping her to learn that, while 9/11 is a day of celebration in our family, for many people it is a day of sadness. On one hand I feel like she is too young to learn about the 9/11 tragedy, but on the other hand we want her to be educated about it so that she won’t be surprised when she hears about it from another source.
