100 Word Stories

100 Word Stories

In celebration of our 100-year anniversary on April 4, 2023, we challenged the community to write an original story consisting  of only 100 words. We received submissions from people of all ages and backgrounds, from newly-registered patrons, to patrons who have been with us for years. Stories about books and Librarians, to stories about fluffy-tailed pups and the footprints they leave on our hearts.

“After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world” – Philip Pullman, author.

Thank you for sharing your stories and leaving your mark as we celebrate the past 100 years and our next 100 years.
