Aug 22   Bollywood Dancing & Henna: Adults & Teens, join us at 6:30 pm to dance & receive henna tattoos (limited availability on the henna, sign up at arrival time). 
Aug 23   Simply Write: A writer's support group. Meetings are every 4th Thursday of the month from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
Aug 28   Teen Make Me: A drop-in crafting time for 6th-12th graders from 3 - 5 pm.
Aug 29   Great Decisions 2018: Listen to discussions from a grass-roots foreign policy group, held on the last Wednesday of the month from 1:30-3:30 pm.
Sep 1   Bee Club: A place to discuss beekeeping techniques, philosophy, activism, and more. Held on the first Saturday of each month from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Sep 5   Teen Zine: Join us in the Teen Room for zine, comic, and other paper projects (with snacks!) on the first Wednesday of every month from 3 - 5 pm.
Sep 8   Adult Craft-o-Rama: Create your own 2019 calendars from 10 am - 1 pm. Advanced sign up required.
Sep 13   Forever Young Book Group: For adults who love to read young adult books! Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of the month at Starbucks on 192nd from 6 - 7:30 pm.
Sep 15   Repair Cafe: Bring items needing repair (electronics, jewelry, clothing, etc.) and have them fixed by skilled volunteers from noon - 2 pm.
Sep 20   LEGO Club: Challenges & free play every month for all ages on the third Thursday of the month at 4 pm.
Sep 21   Board Game Night: A monthly Friday night opportunity for adults to socialize and play games together from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Games provided or bring your own. 
Sep 22   Big Kids Library Sleepover: Activities and fun for 3rd-5th graders and parents. Sleepover with us- beginning 7 pm and ends 7 am; sign up required. 
Sep 24   Galactic Alliance: Teens come hang out and share your fandom- snacks provided. The 4th Monday of the month at 4:30 pm
Sep 25   Teen Make Me: A drop-in crafting time for 6th-12th graders from 3 - 5 pm.
Sep 27   Book 2 Art Club: Bring your art inspired by the book at 6:30 pm! This month's book is Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, by Gail Honeyman. 
Oct 5   First Friday: An opening reception for the new Second Story Gallery artist, featuring live music upstairs in the Camas Public Library from 6 - 8 pm.
  Crochet Club: For all ages, elementary-aged children please attend with an adult. Meets every Thursday from 3 - 4:30 pm in the Teen Room.
  Storytimes: Join us every weekday for storytimes in the library! See our storytime list for times. 
  English Conversation Group: A casual gathering of ESL speakers. 12:30-2pm every Tuesday. The club will take a Summer Break beginning July 17th through September 11th.
    Second Story Gallery

“Into the Light” Aug. 3 to Sept. 29, Second Story Gallery, upstairs in the Camas Public Library. Two artists and colleagues, Mary Alred and Julie Ann Smith, will display their watercolors and oil paintings for two months.  Opening reception on Aug. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. After, the gallery is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.  360-834-4692 www.secondstorygallery.net.
