Oct 17 Lovely Leaves- Club K3: Leaf rubbings, vein tracing and more, for grades K-3rd at 2pm.
Oct 17 Kids Create: The Storyteller Quilters will be here to share their inspiration for their book and then supplies given to create your own inspired quilts at 6:30 pm.
Oct 18 LEGO Club: Challenges & free play every month for all ages on the third Thursday of the month at 4 pm.
Oct 19 Board Game Night: A monthly Friday night opportunity for adults to socialize and play games together from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Games provided or bring your own. 
Oct 20   Saturday Spooktacular: Join us for a spooky evening beginning at 6:30 with the Scary Story Contest Read-Aloud, followed by bingo, snack, haunted library & crafts for kids.
Oct 22 Galactic Alliance: Teens come hang out and share your fandom- snacks provided. The 4th Monday of the month at 4:30 pm
Oct 23 Teen Make Me: A drop-in crafting time for 6th-12th graders from 4 - 5:30 pm. October's craft is paper sugar skulls!
Oct 24   Boo Bash: Downtown Camas Trick or Treat from 3 - 5 pm.
Oct 25   Pumpkin Decorating: Decorate mini pumpkins with us, a hands-on craft for all ages at 4 pm.
Oct 25 Simply Write: A writer's support group. Meetings are every 4th Thursday of the month from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
Oct 31 Great Decisions 2018: Listen to discussions from a grass-roots foreign policy group, held on the last Wednesday of the month from 1:30-3:30 pm.
Nov 2 Book Sale: It's time for the Fall "Gently Used" Book Sale taking place Friday & Saturday. Friday's hours: 10 am - 8 pm. Located in the upstairs meeting rooms

Nov 6  Page Turners: Open to 4th - 6th graders (and their adult). Sign out a copy of the book, read and join us for the monthly meeting every 1st Tuesday of the month through May. Join us at 6:30 each month for an activity & snack.
Nov 7   Teen Zine: Join us in the Teen Room for zine, comic, and other paper projects (with snacks!) on the first Wednesday of every month from 4 - 5:30 pm.
Nov 8   Forever Young Book Group: For adults who love to read young adult books! Meeting from 6-7:30 pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
Nov 14   Story Explorers Book Club: Open to 2nd-3rd graders (and their adult). Sign out a copy of the book, read and join us for the monthly meeting every 2nd Wednesday of the month through May. Join us at 6:30 each month for an activity & snack.

  Crochet Club: For all ages, elementary-aged children please attend with an adult. Meets every Thursday from 3:30 - 5 pm in the Teen Room.

  English Conversation Group: A casual gathering of ESL speakers. 12:30-2pm every Tuesday. 
    Second Story Gallery
   

“Storytime” Oct. 5-Nov. 30, Second Story Gallery, upstairs in the Camas Public Library. The Storytellers, a six-member fiber arts group, takes inspiration from bestsellers to create art with a bookish bent. The group is made up of artists Linda Reinert, CarolAnne Olson, Hedda Wright, Judith Phelps, Mary Kay Price and Dianne Kane. They will be discussing their techniques at the opening reception Oct. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. They also plan multiple activities tied to books and their art over the course of the two-month show, with information available at the Camas Library web site. The Gallery is open during regular library hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. 360-834-4532, www.secondstorygallery.net.
