Raising the water levels of Lacamas and Round Lakes begins this week.

This week the City will begin the process of raising the water levels of both Lacamas and Round Lakes. Each year the lakes are lowered in order to complete dam safety inspections as required by the Washington State Department of Ecology Dam Safety Office. The rate at which the water levels rise is dependent on weather conditions, but we anticipate it may take a few weeks before the boat launches at Heritage Park and Leadbetter Road will become usable again.
