StoryWalk® is Back!

StoryWalk

July 1, 2022 - We are excited to bring back StoryWalk® as part of our 2022 Summer Reading Program!

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. While Anne was working with the Vermont Department of Health she was looking for something that required adults to get outside and be active alongside children, while engaging with literacy. It was also important to Anne that what she created be free and accessible to all families. With all of this in mind, StoryWalk® was born.

Last year, we took you on an adventure through downtown Camas as you read Summer Color! by Diana Murray. In keeping with this year’s Summer Reading theme, “Read Beyond the Beaten Path,” we invite you to explore Crown Park to read Tall Tall Tree by Anthony D. Fredericks. StoryWalk® will be available throughout the month of July.

StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
