LGBTQIA+ Heroes

June 3, 2022 – We have many biographies of LGBTQIA+ people in our Library. We encourage you to review this booklist and check something out!

Did you know we have a monthly book club for LBGTQIA+ teens and their allies? It’s called Rainbow Reads. The group reads YA fiction, nonfiction, and graphic novels that feature LGBTQIA+ characters and themes, or literature written by a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. 

We recently had a program called “More Than a Pronoun;” you can watch the recording on our YouTube channel here.

There is also a Teen Pride Party on June 28. Also, look for our Pride displays in the Library during the month of June!
