Food Drive Update

September 16, 2022 - For the second year in a row, the Camas Public Library is hosting a food drive during September to honor Hunger Action Month. So far we have collected 168 pounds of food – with half of the month left, we are on track to receive as much food as we did last year!

The donations will be given to the Camas School District’s Family-Community Resource Center. We are accepting all non-perishable food items but FCRC has requested individually-wrapped snack items (great for school lunches), instant meals, and cooking/baking staples and condiments.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Library’s food drive so far. If you are still planning to drop food off, we will be collecting items through the end of the month.
