As podcasts continue to grow in popularity and podcasters in fame, many podcasters have published books in conjunction with their podcast. Many nonfiction podcast hosts have written books to add depth to their talk-based medium, with unique art and new information (The Last Book on the Left). Others have written autobiographical narratives entangled with the topic of their podcast (Stay Sexy and Don’t Get Murdered). Some podcasts have developed as an continuation of a book, to continue the discussion originating in the text (Be Antiracist). Fiction podcasts bring dramatic narratives to life with voice acting and sound effects. They create elaborate worlds for their listeners.
