Beginning Monday, March 16th, City public works crew will begin work to improve both the drainage and trail surface along Heritage Trail. Work will include the repair of broken drainage lines, ditch maintenance, and the addition of rock surfacing to areas in need. This work will require the full closure of the trail between Heritage Park and the Lacamas Shores boat launch Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a goal of finishing the work by March 27th. Crews will also be working on the Goodwin Trailhead section between Goodwin Road and Lacamas Shores boat launch. With easier equipment access, all efforts will be made to keep this section open to all trail users while work progresses understanding the safety of trail users is the highest priority. Signs will be posted advising of closures and areas where work is occurring and updates will be provided if there is a need for any changes to the schedule.

No work will occur on weekends and the trail will be fully accessible after 5:00 PM each day during work. As additional options during this work please check out some of our other great trails Camas has to offer:
