Clark County Public Health has lowered the algae bloom advisory for Lacamas lake. Lacamas Lake is now listed in the Caution level.

Current advisories as follows:

  • Lacamas Lake - Caution level advisory
  • Round Lake - Caution level advisory

As conditions change, updates will be posted by the agency at https://clark.wa.gov/public-health/public-beaches. The areas were last sampled on October 14, and signs are posted at each location.

City, County, Ecology and other state agencies have been collaborating on a process to try and assess the overall water quality of our local lakes. The City Council will be discussing this topic in further detail at upcoming meetings. This is an important topic for the community and the City will provide additional information as the discussion progresses.
